Genetics Graduate Student

Research Interests

My interests focus on using ChIP-seq and RNA-seq as tools to understand MeCP2's affect on transcription regulation in neuronal cells. I'm also interested in looking at copy number variations (CNV's) and how they relate to human neuronal diseases.

Awards

  • 2010: Student Employee of the Year
  • 2009: NIH Supplement Summer Research Grant for Students and Science Educators
